Gae Aulenti (1927-2012) was one of the most important Italian architects and designers of the post-war era. As an architect she was well-known for several large-scale museum projects such as the Musée d'Orsay, the restoration of the Palazzo Grassi etc.
She realised over 200 built projects.
As a designer her best-known designs are the Sgarsul rocking chair we currently have on offer, the Pipistrello lamp and the "tavolo con ruote".
Enduring and instantly recognisable designs that are as timeless and full of character as her architecture.
